Hello #YEG is a K-Grade3 curriculum based activity book all about Edmonton. Using activities like Colouring, Matching, Reading Comprehension, Word Search, Puzzles, and Mazes to learn Math, Science, Language Arts and Social Studies as it relates to their city. Young Edmontonians are led through the book by three characters Lucy, Atoo, Reena, each one having immigrated to Edmonton from somewhere else in the world. Hello#YEG is an educational resource for parents and teachers for local resources and lessons, please stay in touch with us through our social media streams.
The Edmonton Passport
In addition to all of the curriculum activities you can find in Hello#YEG, we have included a city wide activity. It is called the Edmonton Passport. It is a free activity, there is no charge for the activity, and to be clear the passport provide any admittance to any facility either. The passport can be removed from the book or downloaded from here.
Stamps are collected by presenting the booklet to locations indicated for each of the different participants (info in the passport). There are 6 stamps to collect, one from several options per page, you may of course collect more than one.
